Here's what I wore to check out the Hollywood Costume exhibit (amazing exhibit for movie/fashion history/costume design enthusiasts--it already ended but they're planning on opening up a museum soon) they had at the LACMA a while ago. I actually wore this exact outfit when Kristian (who was so sweet and fun to talk to in person!) visited months ago, but I liked it so much that I ended up wearing it again.
I got the romper from eBay for $0.99! It's from one of Dear Creatures' earlier collections and just needed a couple of small repairs in the seams. I'm so glad I got such a great deal on it and that the flaws were minor/fixable. It has really pretty vintage-inspired (late 1800's-ish) details, like a ruffled collar, puff sleeves, and bloomer-type bottoms. I wore it with a charcoal jacket and black accessories.
