Here's what I wore to an event a while ago, held at Swift Vintage in Burbank. It was Jenny Dayco's 10-year anniversary as a jewelry designer. She's such a sweetie! Her jewelry is the perfect combination of edgy/girly. It was an intimate event where you could check out the collection and mingle. I even bought a chunky sparkly ring that night (below).

For my outfit, I mixed traditional menswear elements (suspenders, a button-down shirt) with girly details (dotted tights, a fun pair of Scottie dog heels) and dark lipstick (Urban Decay's "Shame"). I do love a good button-down! I'm wearing a vintage J. Crew one that I thrifted.
Striped button-down shirt (J. Crew, thrifted)
Black velvet a-line skirt (Erin Fetherston x Target)
Black faux leather skinny suspenders (via eBay)
Black dotted diamond tights (Forever 21)
Gray Scottie dog heels (Irregular Choice)
Black quilted Olivia satchel (Alice+Olivia)
Black bowler hat (Forever 21)
Silver bunny ring (Forever 21)
Oh yeah, if you haven't checked out Bystander yet, please do. It's an online indie music and arts zine I'm working on with some awesome creative people! We just started and could use the support and good vibes. xx
