I can be a bit of a makeup junkie (I'm currently going through a seemingly never-ending lipstick phase), so this has got to be my favorite Beauty Box yet! April's box included eye shadow, lip liner, and a full-size lipstick (yesss!). The non-makeup products were pretty awesome too. Here's what I got in my Beauty Box 5 April box:

Beauty Box 5 Review: April 2014
- Blum Naturals - All-Purpose Cleansing Wipes in "Citrus Scent" - I usually carry a tiny bottle of antibacterial gel in my bag, but these are so much better for messy hands--and natural too! The citrus scent smells great and isn't overpowering. I used them to wipe the makeup off my arm in-between swatching, and they worked well. Bonus: it's only $2.39 for 30 wipes in the cute to-go container.
- Bonne Bell - Lip Liner in "Boysenberry" - A no-nonsense lipliner that goes on smoothly and stays put. "Boysenberry" is a deep neutral raspberry mauve that looks great with darker neutral pinks and plums. Swatch below.
- Nicka K - Lipstick in "Concerto" - Lightweight, semi-sheer, and decent lasting power with a light fruity scent. "Concerto" is a gorgeous shimmery neutral peach that complemented my skin nicely. It's ideal for casual and beachy looks for spring and summer! Swatch below.
- Jergens - Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer in "Medium to Tan" - I've only used one packet so far because I want to see how long it lasts, but I actually like it so far. I usually tan naturally pretty easily, but being stuck in an office all day the past year hasn't helped much. I've never used self-tanner before so I was a bit scared. This was so easy to use (just put it on and wait for a few minutes!) and I was pleasantly surprised at how natural the color looked. The "medium to tan" shade worked really well with my skintone and deepened it about 1-2 shades. I did get some streaks on my arm, but that's probably because I applied it hastily. It's been 3 days and is fading gradually, but still noticeable. I'll use the other packets when I break out the bare legs.
- BH Cosmetics - California Eye Shadow Collection - A bold eye shadow collection inspired by my home state. Each shadow is semi-sheer with a light shimmer. "Hollywood" is a deep violet, "San Francisco" is a dark mocha, and "Malibu" is a vibrant gold. "San Francisco" and "Malibu" are great neutrals for everyday, while "Hollywood" would be fun to use for a smokey eye. Swatches are below (shown without using eye shadow primer).
