A Little Bit of Flare: de Chemin Jeans

1970's cult brand de Chemin is re-launching soon--and they're back with premium denim (made in the U.S.A.!) that feature classic details like high waists and light distressing with modern silhouettes.

And yes, they have a bit of their signature sexy 70's flare, too.

Outfit Details:
Cream floral chiffon surplice blouse (c/o Lily White)
Black lace bralette (c/o Sway Chic)
Blue high-waisted bootcut "Fifi" jeans (c/o de Chemin)
Taupe faux suede wedge heels (Alloy)
Taupe colorblock "Juliet" bag (c/o Melie Bianco)

I've been adding some more jeans to my collection lately and have had my eyes on high-waisted styles. It was a fun surprise to receive these ones by de Chemin. That 70's Show is one of my personal favorites, and their jeans immediately reminded me of the casual, youthful wardrobe on the show. I was impressed at how they felt retro without being costume-y. The bootcut legs flare out ever-so-slightly, while the button tab details on the front and back define the waist nicely. I also liked the subtle distressing, whisker washing, and dainty pockets.

Also worthy of note: the fit is amazing and they somehow make my butt look pretty good (which is difficult, when you don't really have one to begin with). They are very fitted but have just enough stretch for comfort.

They're currently available in select stores around L.A. right now, but be sure to follow along on Facebook and Twitter for updates!
