Queen Bee

I just got this screenprinted tank in black from Skip N' Whistle. I loved the superhero woman, Victorian woman with a camera, and anchor too, but I kept going back to the bee for some reason (it comes in other colors, too). It's a lovely but simple design that you don't quite see everyday.

More photos and details after the jump.

Outfit Details:
Cobalt blue knit ponte knit blazer with polka-dot lining (Keds)
Black scoopneck "Vintage Bee" tank top (c/o Skip N' Whistle)
Gray high-waisted pleated wool shorts (c/o Mia Melon)
Navy and white striped boat shoe ballet flats (Nicole via Ross)

Skip N' Whistle's tops are the perfect blend of vintage and modern, with designs pulled from the past and printed onto trendy, comfy tees. Their shirts are quirky yet timeless, and can be dressed up or down, depending on your mood. I dressed mine up a little and went for a low-key preppy look with my new cobalt blazer with polka-dot lining (have you seen the new Keds juniors line for Macy's? It's full of colorful prints and preppy All-American pieces--totally up my alley), high-waisted wool shorts, and my striped boat shoes from Ross ($11!).

Enjoy your weekend! I'm ready to relax after a long work week.
