Wasteland Finds: a bright coral polka-dot bow blouse by Unif and vintage sailor collar blouse

Ashley, Jessica, and me

A couple of weeks ago, I met up with a couple of the Flock Together girls in what was (hopefully) the first of many adventures! Jessica of Midwest Muse and her friend Jess came down to L.A. to stay with Ashley (Southern California Belle) for a few days. We made plans to spend the day together for some lunching and shopping. After some delicious sandwiches and fries at La Piazza, we ditched The Grove for all the cool vintage and alternative shops on Melrose. It was my first time checking out the stores there, and I found a couple of cute blouses (above) at Wasteland, a new favorite. It's huge and has a great, carefully curated selection of new and gently used vintage, designer, and high street fashion. Once we tired of shopping, we went on a quick quest for a palm tree filled neighborhood to take some outfit photos (hey, we're fashion bloggers) while simultaneously trying not to get run over by cars.

It was so nice to actually have the chance to hang out with Ashley (we've met up a couple of times to swap clothes in person), and meet Jessica and Jess! They're all such awesome, down-to-earth girls (with cute personal styles, as you can see). They got to spend the rest of their trip doing fun touristy California things, so I'm sure they enjoyed themselves.

It's always so much fun to meet bloggers in person (especially the Flock Together gals!).
Here's to more blogger meet-ups (and in the meantime, swapping adventures).
