Polish Post: French Rainbow

My co-worker got me a little going-away present that included bright yellow nail polish, so I was excited to try it out. I went for rainbow French tips--a little spin on a classic!

If only I had a 6th finger...then I'd get to wear purple too (I settled for purple on my toes).

"Make an Entrance" (China Glaze) | "Magic Bus" (Urban Decay) | Yellow (Love & Beauty/Forever 21) | "For Audrey" (China Glaze) | #53 "Pacific Hoot" (Pop Beauty)

I used a clear nail polish, then free-handed the tips, which required a lot of patience (and q-tips soaked in nail polish remover), but I've found the easiest way to paint the stripe is to start on the outside and move towards the center, and then paint the other side of the nail the same way, meeting in the middle. It helps if the polishes are really opaque too. Don't forget to finish with a topcoat (I like Sally Hansen's Diamond Strength Topcoat).

What's on your nails right now?
