Keep calm and carry on

I recently lost my job.

I won't get into specifics and am still pretty upset about the whole situation, but I'm doing a lot better now. I actually really liked my job, and made good friends with my co-workers.

I've already cried it out (a lot) to everyone in my family, and my former co-workers as well. Everyone has been amazingly supportive, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. what?

Well, thankfully I didn't shop during my 30 x 30 challenge last month! Also, my tax return and random flurry of Etsy orders couldn't have come at a better time.

I'm going to use this time to self-evaluate and really try to be productive with my time. In-between updating my resume and job-hunting, I'll be back to blogging and sewing more. LA fashion week is coming up and I'll be attending some events this month, so I'm very excited for that.

So don't worry about me! There's lots to do and I'm optimistic.
These things happen, and at least now, for the time being, I can focus on all my little projects (this is L.A., after all).

And hey, I can wear colors anytime I want now.

oh gosh, Erica, that's tough. I'm glad to hear that you're staying positive throughout the transition. I can't wait for you to be blogging more and I'm sure things will work out for you in the end. Who knows! Your dream job could be waiting for you just around the corner!

Chin up, love. It's going to be ok!

Awwwww man this is such a bummer. No matter what loosing your job is no fun. I've only lost one, and I happened to get fired on my 20th birthday after they threw a little party. Twisted right?

I hope that whatever comes next for you is brilliant and amazing! Come on, we know it will be! So here's to the future girly!

I'd take it as a sign that it's time for big and better things! If I were to lose my job at Sbux (cross my fingers I don't though lol) my 2nd thought (after the oh-shit panic attack) would be "I'm gettin' my nails done!" Hahaha. :) Good luck girlie, and I know something wayyyy better is in store!
