It was hard to pick an outfit to feature from this episode of Dating Rules from My Future Self because Lucy's date outfit (a golden pleated-front satin blouse and emerald pencil skirt) was very stylish...unfortunately, it was hard to hunt for similar items! Here's her second outfit from the same episode: a cute printed dress and a contrasting red belt.
The bright red belt accentuates her waist and keeps her otherwise neutral outfit looking fresh. I think it's such a clever way to make an outfit a little more fun!

Pair a neutral printed dress (Lucy's has a geometric print, but I chose one with an adorable tiny deer print!) with a tan short-sleeved cardigan, and add a brightly colored belt around the waist. Finish with a pair of super tall suede wedges for a look that is both cute and work appropriate!
