Polish Post: Creepy Spiderweb Nails

I wanted to do something in the spirit of Halloween this week, so when I came across Syl and Sam's awesome Spiderweb Nail tutorial, I thought I'd give it a shot.

It's not too hard, but yes, painting stripes with your non-dominant hand can be tricky, so just be patient and do it carefully.

I used a black matte polish (2 coats) and white striper polish for the spiderwebs. I added a fine silver glitter polish over the spiderwebs for sparkle.

black matte polish (Skin Food), deco polish in white (L.A. Colors), fine silver glitter polish ("Trailer Trash" by Hard Candy; discontinued)

I also want to try their skull tutorial sometime this week. It's all kinds of creepy-cute:

What's on your nails right now? I'd love to hear about it (especially if you have any Halloween ideas)!

Love the spider webs, it's something I wish I could do. Right now I have a pinkish gold with a glitter top coat. In my experience, Topshop's polish lasts for days, and is fast becoming my favorite.
