Hey na na

Outfit Details: lace kimono blouse (Forever 21), pink ruched bra (Forever 21), wool plaid shorts (Mon Petit Oiseau), open toe lace up wedges (Ellemeno; super old! I got them from the now extinct Mervyn's during high school)

Shorts weather! Finally.
These are my new favorite shorts by Mon Petit Oiseau. I got them for $10 at Dress on a Dime, a semi-annual consignment sale that they have in Santa Clarita (they hold the shopping event in several cities around Los Angeles). They usually have tons of cheap vintage and gently used clothing & accessories, so I like going and browsing all the racks, even if it's kind of messy and a lot of work. It's worth it in the end (I found a vintage dress for $7!).

I recently won a giveaway hosted by designer Melissa Velia (remember her runway show at Project Ethos?). She handpicked a few bloggers and chose specific pieces for each of us,  based on our personal style. She knew my style perfectly! The necklace has everything I like: the color pink, a bow, a heart, and a little rose charm. You can buy it through Paypal (it's only $13!).

What was great about the giveaway was the fact that each of the bloggers she chose had such different styles and aesthetics, but she was still able to find something in her shop to match each of us! Her jewelry line really does have something for everyone, so be sure to check it out.
