Fashion's Night Out LA 2010

Fashion's Night Out exceeded all my expectations! It was full of lots of socializing and stylish people.

I arrived just in time to catch a glimpse of Blake Mycowskie, founder of Tom's shoes. All I got to show for it was a blurry photo, but it's him, I promise.

After Tom and Nordstrom finished with their presentation, I attended Bloggers' Cafe, hosted by Kelsi Smith, Two Point Oh LA, and Fashion Los Angeles at the Grove. I met a few new bloggers and caught up with some old favorites while we snacked on hors d'oeurves, drank wine, and checked out stylists' looks and trends for fall.

Stylists for the night included Margaret Sche of The Sche Report with the top 5 trends for fall featuring looks from Theodore, Barney's Co-op and the Gap, Kallah Maguire of Emerald Scarab with day-to-night looks, Kadi Prescott of Girly Gazette with stylish outfits for "moms on the run", and Reah Norman and Bree Cooley with Fall Trends for the Plus Size Woman featuring pieces from the Gap.

The outfits were diverse enough that there was something for everyone, and the stylists offered expert advice and tips while showcasing the different looks they had put together for the evening.

Now here are a few of my favorite bloggers' looks!

MAC provided mini makeovers, so Natalie and I headed over to their little black directors' chairs and had our makeup done. natalie getting her makeup done

Lulu, my makep artist, asked if I "wanted a little Snookie", but I opted for a smokey eye and light lipgloss instead.

We ended the night by heading to Nordstrom where Fergie unveiled her new shoe line (oh my gosh, so many people showed up! It was nearly impossible to get a photo).

And finally, the swag! Thank you so much to all the sponsors! We received a Fashion's Night Out t-shirt, handsoap by Tommy Bahama, bath samples from Fresh and Caudalie, brownies (!!!) from The Farm of Beverly Hills, and a gift card to spend at the Grove. I guess that means I have to go again ;)

Stay tuned for my outfit post for the evening! :)

Thank you Kelsi Smith, Two Point Oh LA, Fashion Los Angeles, and The Grove for putting together such an amazing event!

The MAC lady asked you if you "wanted a little Snookie?!" I didn't know that! How hilarious! I'm glad you opted out. Good seeing you yesterday!! I need to get your phone #!
