Here's the outfit I'm wearing in the last post. I had gone out shopping with my mom that day and she bought a new hat, so I asked if she wanted me to take some outfit photos for her too. She had fun doing it, so perhaps she should start a fashion blog of her own as well. ;)

Floral on floral works well--as does any print mixing--if one print is larger than the other, so I thought it'd be fun to pair these prints together. I wore my bright and colorful floral printed shirt (from Marshalls; available here), high-waisted denim shorts with a really cute ditsy daisy print (on sale for $15!), and tan and hot pink wedges by G by Guess.

I'll be posting some photos from Mother's Day soon. We went to my favorite tea place and had a really nice brunch, and my sister flew in from Chicago and surprised everyone.

I was originally planning on saving all my Flock Together swap outfits exclusively for that blog, but I've been swapping way more than posting (we each get 1-2 posts a month). I'll start posting a few of the swap outfits here every now and then so they don't just keep piling up.

I borrowed this cute polka-dot skirt from Ashley of Southern California Belle. Midi length skirts have definitely grown on me, and I just adore the giant polka-dots and paperbag waist. I seriously hope I can find a skirt just like this because I really like it and was reluctant to give it back. I'll just have to do some hunting. I wore it with a cropped black tee, red velvet bow belt, espadrille wedges, and my favorite boater hat.
